Melanie joined Newcoast in the summer of 2016 with more than 15 years of experience in marine financing. She is a seasoned marine industry professional, producing over $1 billion in yacht loans.
 
 Melanie is involved with numerous charities, both in her hometown of Washington, D.C. and in her current home, the greater Fort Lauderdale Area. She served as a Committee Member for two Presidential Inaugurations and participates regularly in fund-raising activities for AIDS awareness. Melanie also served the past twelve years on the Miami Dolphins Foundation Fishing Tournament, an event that generates over $750,000 annually for south Florida charities. As a presenter for the Florida Yacht Broker Association, she educated the yacht industry on changes in marine lending. She is involved with the American Cancer Society, which has claimed the lives of many close family members including her father whose passion for boating influenced her life and career. 
 
 Melanie is married and living on the water in Fort Lauderdale with her husband, beloved daughter, and two dogs.
